Below is a series of twelve letters from my father, Jack Hamil,
to my mother, Eloise Graves. They begin in 1938 when they first met. The last
letter is after they were married, Eloise was pregnant with Judy in Montana and
Jack was in Portland going to school. This strikes me as being a voyeuristic but
it does seem to be the best way I have to show who he was. This is also a one
sided correspondence but it was Eloise who kept these. There is more information
