The Path down to Johnson Creek 2003
The path begins below the studio. It's first corner is near one of the erratics that was washed here by the Missoula floods.
The second corner tunnels under a very tall western red cedar that exits under the canopy of firs, maples, Oregon Ash, Cascara, Hazel Nuts, Oregon Grape, Osoberry and Alder.
The floor under the canopy is covered with ferns, pick-a-backs, elderberry, osoberry, scrub filberts and salmon berry.
